No, all Vitacore`s masks and respirators are free of graphene or bio graphene.
Yes, All of our respirators have undergone testing through the National Research council, Vancouver Coastal, McMaster University, UBC and have been Authorized for use by Health Canada to be used in place as NIOSH/N95 equivalent
Best practice is to use the Respirator once and properly dispose of it immediately after, however each province has introduced guidelines for re-use. Please Refer to your local or Provincial Health Authority for guidance.
Earloop: The way this respirator is worn is by loops that go around the ears. The benefit is that it allows for greater comfort and ease of use in non-medical settings.
Headband: The way this respirator is worn is by one loop high on the back of the head and another low at the base of the skull. The benefit is a higher degree of seal around the wearers face to increase fit and prevent leakage. This version also has a pure aluminum nose bridge for MRI Compatibility & is required by Health Canada for use in medical settings.
Surgical mask (ASTM level 1,2 and 3): A surgical mask is a 3 layer, disposable mask held on by ear loops. It protects the wearer's nose and mouth from contact with droplets, splashes and sprays that may contain germs, aerosols and other unwanted airborne particles. A surgical mask also filters out large particles in the air. Surgical masks may protect others by reducing exposure to the saliva and respiratory secretions of the mask wearer. They are designed to stop large droplets, but are not designed to seal tightly to the face and do not prevent leakage around the edge of the mask when the user inhales. Respirator (CAN95/CAN99): A respirator reduces the wearer's exposure to certain airborne particles that can be inhaled through the nose or mouth. A CAN95 mask offers more protection than a surgical mask does because it can filter out both large and small particles when the wearer inhales. As the name indicates, the mask is designed to block greater than 95% of very small particles. It also fits tightly to the face and creates a seal between the face and respirator to help ensure all air is drawn through the filter.
